Meta-Pot – Tiny House Design Competition

The obejctive of the project competition is designing a Tiny House for 2 people of maximum 24 m2 that would offer peaceful living conditions with an innovative, sustainable and ceative concept.

Designed 24m2 portable tiny house, Meta-pot, that provides its own energy with environmental opportunities, such as facade with wind turbines, solar panels, and a stong central structure, which also used as a water collector.



The reasons such as the increasing demand for mobile housing, the way the house is used, and the fact that the house spaces are built on more basic needs have resulted in the introduction of smaller and portable house types.


With the developing technology and human needs, the “self-sufficient”
houses began to emerge. But WHAT IS NEXT?


Like living organisms, buildings need energy and water to be habitable inside. Energy forms the basis of movement. However, one of the most important features that distinguishes buildings from living organisms is their ability to move. Assuming that
houses will gradually turn into living organisms at this point, motility will be one of the most important parts of this.


Meta-pot, which consists of two main parts, the skeleton and the shell, is a structure that provides its own energy with environmental opportunities, as well as being able to move thanks to its skeleton, which also forms the carrier of the structure. For this reason, the meta-pot is a type of structure that we could encounter frequently in the future.
